In addition to the lenses, the frames are very important. However, when trying on the different frames, there is more to consider than just your appearance. The way they fit is extremely important to long-term wearability and comfort. The frames must fit your face properly – you should not feel any pressure at the points of contact, such as behind your ear or on your nose. Our opticians should adapt the sides to the shape of your face so that you do not feel any pressure at your temples, even after wearing your spectacles for extended periods. Optimally adjusted sides exert only a slight pull behind the ear, preventing the weight of the spectacles from putting pressure on your nose. The general rule is that your spectacles fit perfectly when you don’t even know you’re wearing them. We provide the same expert fitting service to our prescription sports and swim goggles.
